Date Night!

So you’ve decided to take your lovely lady/handsome honey out on a romantic date? Let us do the thinking for you - here are some ideas that will make it an easy and stress free occasion.

The Daytime Date: Does she have a curfew? For whatever reason, you can still have an incredible date during the day. Go for a stroll through the Budaiya Botanical Gardens, sit by the lake and whisper sweet nothings. Then head down to Arman Zoo in Jasra just for something a little different, and finally have afternoon tea outside by the fountain at La Fontaine. Drop her home, fist pump into the air to your success. Score.

The Adventure Date: Check out the new karting track at the Bahrain International Circuit, which is crazy fun. After a few rounds on the track, drive down to one of the beautiful hotel bars in the area and have drinks outdoors while you relax and stare into each others eyes... Ok a bit too much but you can definitely have this lovely experience at the Al Areen Hotel & Spa or Sofitel Zallaq hotel.

Another option is to spend the evening at the driving range in the Royal Golf Course, which you don’t have to be an expert golfer to enjoy, FYI. Any beginner can check it out (they loan you clubs for free) and you’ll have a great time practicing your golf swing. The Relaxing Date: This, by far, is our favorite option. Its Valentine’s Day so time to indulge, people! Have a casual day/night in with your sweetie in the comfort of your own home. Get some Wagyu steaks from Sage amp;amp; Sirloin to barbecue on your home grill (or you could buy a temporary disposable grill from one of the supermarkets if you don’t have one at home). Get some goose fat and potatoes from Lulu Hypermarket, chop into french fries and fry those bad boys up in the goose fat, then sprinkle with a little sea salt and black pepper. Add beer and you are set! Sit outside on the patio, listening to Fat Freddy’s Drop, and enjoy each other’s company under the stars. Awww.
